1st Year of Warranty
• Equipment
For products purchased from Audio Insight that are currently under the manufacturer's warranty, Audio Insight will coordinate the REPAIR of the product with the manufacturer on behalf of the customer.
Audio Insight will provide labor to remove the product, send it in for repair, and re-install it. Shipping charges will not be covered, though most manufacturers cover the shipping costs in the first year.
• Installation
Audio Insight will cover any issues related to defects in our installation or workmanship.
2nd Year of Warranty
• Equipment
For products purchased from Audio Insight that are currently under the manufacturer's warranty, Audio Insight will coordinate the REPAIR of the product with the manufacturer on behalf of the customer.
The customer will be charged for labor to remove the product, send it in for repair, and re-install it. Shipping charges will not be covered.
• Installation
• Same as 1st year (see above)
3rd Year and Beyond
• All service calls and repairs are billable
This warranty does not cover:
- Damage to components caused by anything other than defects in materials or workmanship
- Damage or defects caused by abnormal or unreasonable use (including unauthorized system modifications, repairs and specifically, alterations by a person or party other than Audio Insight)
- Damage or defects resulting from acts of nature, such as lightning or flood. (These items may be covered under your home owner’s or other insurance)
- Damage or defects resulting from accidents, misuse, abuse, neglect
- Damage or defects resulting from improper installation, removal, or maintenance by a person or party other than Audio Insight
- Any product, service or system not purchased through Audio Insight and installed through Audio Insight
- Any client education/ re-education more than 90 days after the date of substantial completion
- Any product that has had its serial number removed or altered
- Handheld remote control batteries more than 90 days after the date of substantial completion
- Projection lamps more than 90 days after the date of substantial completion
- Programming changes more than 90 days after the date of substantial completion
*This warranty is null and void for any systems which include main components (excluding HDTV monitors or projectors) not purchased through Audio Insight.
*This warranty does not cover system function, operation or customer education for any system that does not include a control device
*Remote manufacturer can identify abuse (i.e. if the remote has been dropped, liquid spills, etc). Remote abuse is not covered under any warranty.
*Warranty does not include temporary replacement equipment if your unit requires service.
